Q: Where are you off to?

A: I'm off to work. To get there, I have to catch the bus.

off to = going

catch a/the (bus) = take a/the bus

Expression Speaking - bags under my eyes

I didn't sleep very well last night, and now, I have giant bags under my eyes!

How about you? Did you sleep well?

bags under my eyes = dark circles under your eyes usually caused by lack of sleep

I'm taking a new route to work today. I hope I get there on time!

route = a route is the way (direction) from one place to another place.

Vocabulary Speaking - lazy; energetic

I've been sitting at Starbucks for like the last hour being super lazy and I find, I find I get lazy in the wintertime.

up to = doing

(O) Right - I'm correcting essays.

I made this error to highlight a common mistake when using 'up to'
